The annual bassmasters Auburn Lake Clean-Up, was held Saturday May 15 from 8 am to 11 am with volunteers from Androscoggin and L/A Junior Bassmasters meeting at the Route 4 turnout at 7:45am. "The clean up has 20 years of history behind it, now that's a lot of trash removed from the shores by our members over the years" stated Tony Hawkins, the clubs Conservation Director. Hawkins also mentioned that the original clean up date in April was postponed due to the small snow accumulation we had. This years clean-up is sponsored by, Cavalier Club Bingo, Three Cousins Getty, Lowe's, Shaw's, and Tim Hortons. It was estimated that between 500-750 lbs of trash was collected. See photos
